We recently stayed at the conca park hotel on our trip to sorrento and we would have to say it was a great choice of hotel. The hotel is ideally situated to the centre of town near all the bars and restaurants and within walking distance of most of the amenities. The hotel itself is located at the side of a mountain with beautiful views and a large swimming pool. Despite been told we would have to pay €5 a day for sun lounges this did not happen. The staff where all very freindly and helpful and looked after our every need. The only down side if there is one is the long walk from the entrance of the hotel to the reception desk up hill but there is a courtesy car available for older people

Good location, very close to city center, fine pool, nice hotel.
I had room facing to the cliffs. No problem, nice room with balcony, and you can have see-view on higher price if you want. The only problem was that some electric equipment was switched on in the evening and it was very noisy, was not possible to leave open window at night.

Staff very pleasant and extremley hepful

Great location just off the main strip. Hotel is beautiful, really nice modern, luxorious decor. Great views over Mount Versouvious and bay of Naples. Nice pool and sun loungers.
Majority of the staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. Shame as the hotel is really nice, so we would still recommend trying it - but be aware the staff do not fit the venue and for the most part are uninterested in your wellbeing. Avoid restaurant as well, dissapointing and over-priced.

The h6te3 was very near t6 a fa053y wedd5ng that we were g65ng t6 . The staff were very fr5end3y and *635te,he3*f43.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, clean and bright with a nice size balcony- cleaned every day. Breakfast was superb- a tremendous choice of food in a beautiful breakfast room with views across Sorrento. The pool was large with lots of free loungers to use- there was also a small pool for children. The lunch menu was reasonable as were the drinks prices. The hotel was about 5 minutes walk to the main streets of Sorrento and walkable from the train station (about 10 mins). We had a fantastic week at the Conka Park and wouldn't hesitate to go back!
The only thing I could fault would be that in our room there was a small area of damp, which although didn't affect us, was a bit unsightly.

The hotel is 0.5 km from sea and 300 metres from one end of the main street. Very convenient. Very friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast, nice pool area and spa/gym underneath. Main problem for elderly/infirm is there is a 200m walk up a well lit tunnel but uphill all the way from hotel entrance to reception but porter will take you up on his golf buggy if you are tired so rather quirky and fun. Rooms good, no tea/coffee but available downstairs if required.
The tunnel up to reception (but did make us fitter) and nice to walk down. No tea/coffee in room but not unusual in Europe.

The hotel was in great location away from the noisy main st in sorrento our room was on the fifth floor with a balcony overlooking sorrento bay and mount Vesuvius. Well worth the upgrade. Rooms were spacoius with all the usual facilities plenty of wardrobe space, in room safe, fridge, air con, walk in shower etc. Only stayed bed n breakfast but breakfast selection varied n tasty especially the cooked to order omlettes. Swimming pool area very pleasant but you had to be early to reserve the sunbeds. Would stay again here if in sorrento we had a great holiday!
Should provide tea n coffee making facilities in room. Better grade toiletries. Not allow guests to reserve sunbeds with towels. Continous shuttle from street level to reception would be great.

I really liked the Conca Park, I have stayed in 9 different hotels over the past 15 years of going to Sorrento, and the Conca Park was spotlessly clean everywhere, the rooms, hallways, toilets, dining room, pool area, its a real credit to the owner, Breakfast was plentyful lots of fruit, bacon, egg, croissants, toast, it is buffet style but most places are, you do need to ge to pool area early before 9 to get a sun lounger, but there are lots of deck chairs, but its the same with sun loungers wherever you go, I would recommend this hotel would not hesitate.
-
The location was good and the facilities were good. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff were also very good.
I felt if you did not belong to a tour group or a large group you were over looked. I did not find the majority of staff at reception cordial. I will not be returning to this hotel and I would not recommend it.
-
It was a very nice hotel within easy reach of the main centre of Sorrento. The facilities are excellent and well looked after. Having a life guard is welcomed as the pool is quite deep. I would recommend the hotel as it is well positioned and within easy access to all the main activities. staff were friendly and accomodating
Service could be a bit slow semetimes as there was not many staff on in the afternoons. The fridge/mini bar in the room did not keep anything particularly cold (barely cool) which is really needed in the heat. A strategy which obviously benefits the hotel.
-
very friendly and helpful staff good position just outside of town centre nice external areas
shower too small not enough hotel information in bedroom
-
Great location to walk to Sorrento! But far enough from the city-centre so its calm and still. Big swimming pool! The view from the room is fantastic (only if you book seasight)! Breakfast is good, fresh fruit etc.
The pool closes at 7 p.m., thats a little early if you went on a trip.

how clsoe the hotel was to the town
The reception staff were not friendly
